Koshari: A traditional and hearty dish combining layers of perfectly cooked rice, lentils, pasta, and crispy vermicelli. Topped with chickpeas, a rich tomato sauce, and golden fried onions. Finished with bold flavors of garlic juice, vinegar, cumin, coriander, and a touch of hot sauce for spice enthusiasts.
The chefs at Mike’s Table will also put together some extra starters and a main course using surplus (still fresh!) donated ingredients which would otherwise go to waste, all in the style of the evening’s cuisine.
