Google Analytics/Web Specialist Volunteer
Plateful Cafe seeks a Google Analytics/Web Specialist Volunteer to support data-driven decisions and strengthen our digital impact, helping empower refugees through employment with meaningful analytics and insights. What will you be doing? You’ll work closely with our team to: Set up and manage Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track website performance and user behavior Implement and maintain Google Tag Manager for streamlined tracking code deployment Create custom reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators Analyse web data to generate actionable insights for the Marketing Team Set up conversion tracking and goal measurement for key initiatives Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices Collaborate with the team to define data needs and develop measurement strategies What are we looking for? We are looking for someone with: Strong expertise in GA4 and Google Tag Manager Proven experience in data interpretation and reporting Proficiency in building custom dashboards and implementing tracking Awareness of web analytics best practices and compliance protocols Keen attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Desirable but not essential: Google Analytics certification (GA4 and/or Universal Analytics) Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console and social media analytics Knowledge of conversion rate optimisation, A/B testing, and SEO metrics London-based, with the ability to attend occasional events What difference will you make? Graphics Designer
What will I be doing as a Graphics Designer? Developing a logo for our charity. Working on our charity’s brand: choosing an appropriate colour scheme, creating sample post templates, etc. Working with the rest of the Marketing Team to apply the brand to posters, flyers, product labels and more. Graphics Designer requirements: Prior experience in graphic design Able to create interesting and engaging content Good digital/IT skills. Good time management skills. Engaging and friendly. Good team player. Excellent communication skills and fluent in English. Ideally will be skilled at using a graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop (or equivalent) and has access to their own software. Desirable: An interest in supporting refugees and contributing to the work of Plateful Cafe. Experience of working with refugees, people seeking asylum or other vulnerable groups Lives in London with the ability to occasionally meet and visit us for events.
Volunteer Film maker
We are looking for a film maker who will be able to join us at our food and music events, film and create short highlight clips to share on social media (see our instagram page for ideas). What will you be doing? Conducting short interviews with guests and the team to create content Contribute new ideas and creativity welcome to showcase and promote Plateful Cafe. Requirements: Basic video editing ability A decent camera/phone
Social Media Officer and Blogger
We are looking for someone to assist us to share information and updates through our communications and social media content, to help us fundraise and grow. What will you be doing? Leading on one of our social media channels (currently Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or LinkedIn) Producing occasional blog posts (minimum one per quarter except LinkedIn lead who will do one per month) on topics related to Plateful Café including research and interviews. Recording social media analytics on a weekly basis Identifying potential content and opportunities Adding ideas to the content planner Postings and scheduling content Attendance at team catch-ups virtually/phone Ad-hoc attendance at events and markets Other duties in line with the role description Requirements: Excellent communication skills in fluent English Has 3+ years experience of social media, copywriting, journalism, blog content creation, interviewing or similar skills (this does not have to include published work)lls and experience as a Social Media Officer and Blogger? We are looking for a new volunteer to help us at Plateful Cafe.
